Job description

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR FOR BUSY OPTOMETRY PRACTICE IN MARIN

Mill Valley Optometry is seeking a front desk office coordinator. Must be an energetic, hard-working individual with excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person, as customer service is very important. An ability to problem solve and stay organized is necessary. Computer skills are required, especially excel and word. While prior knowledge of vision plans and medical insurances are a plus, training will be provided. Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.

Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phone calls, taking messages, booking appointments, inputting electronic records systems, placing orders for glasses and contact lenses, and documenting communications with patients.

Dependability and punctuality is critical to the running of our practice. This is a full time position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
