Job Summary:
The Office Administrator will organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures while creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment and ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness. They will be a strong communicator (written and verbal) and develop effective relationships across all business functions. This individual will also have the opportunity to work with the various teams throughout Basecamp (corporate) to assist with tasks and projects when necessary. The ideal candidate will be flexible and have strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Mail preparation and distribution
- Oversee office inventory
- Ensure all office spaces and equipment are neat and tidy
- Provide general administrative support to Executive Team as needed
- Scheduling/re-scheduling appointments
- Clear and effective communication between both office locations
- Verifying insurance
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Skilled multi-tasker with ability to prioritize
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Must be willing to travel between both office locations
Experience and Education:
- Preferred 6 months to 1+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Administrator
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Excellent written, speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.
- Must have high finger dexterity to perform duties involving work on the computer.
