Our Campers build character and confidence through daily activities geared towards learning and fun in a positive environment. Campers connect with others, make new friends, try new things and laugh! It is a true pleasure to provide campers with smiles every day. Our goal is to provide an environment in which the campers can feel safe learning new activities, have fun, be active and make new friends. We teach them games and play a variety of sports throughout the day. Our theme weeks provide a different identity and focus each week.
We are currently seeking a Summer CampOffice Admin to join our team!
The Office Administrator is directly responsible for the collection and maintenance of all camp account receivables, registrations/cancellations, daily camp operations and logistics. This position requires extensive planning, leadership, organization, progressive decision-making, management skills, customer service and personal responsibility. The Office Administrator is committed to fulfilling all duties with ethical conduct, community stewardship, individual initiative, and responsive service. The Office Administrator demonstrates and fosters effective communication with other camp administration/office staff and parents.
*Starts part time in April/May (about 10 hours a week). Becomes full time (30-40 hours a week) in June until beginning of August.
Summer camp dates for 2024 are May 28th - Aug 2nd, 2024. We begin planning/hiring in April and work through end of camp.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday through Friday. Hours will be flexible with some evening work required at times.
- High school degree or GED with 2 years proven job-related experience serving customers
- Basic computer and Microsoft software knowledge.
- Monitor camp registrations through online portal
- Answer telephones and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure customers and staff have an experience that exemplifies Camp Hubbard mission and philosophy: Hubbard provides a safe, active environment to encourage physical, social, and emotional growth for a lifetime of success. Communication with families; address parent concerns
- Communicate with Camp Executive Director daily of any staff, customer, vendor and/or facility issues.
- Ensure all counselors, coaches, and director binders are prepared for the following week with updated curriculum reports.
