As a sister company to The Trainer Page, a fitness studio celebrated for its transformative group sweat therapy sessions, we are on a mission to integrate the mental benefits of exercise with personalized nutrition. Our goal is to extend our services across a network of fitness studios, starting with our own as the first client.
The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Nutritionist who is deeply knowledgeable in the science of nutrition, understands the psychological aspects of eating, and is adept at creating personalized nutrition plans that cater to individual client needs. This role is for someone passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, with a balanced, open-minded approach to diet and nutrition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive, personalized nutrition plans that consider clients' health goals, dietary preferences, and lifestyle.
- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments to identify specific needs, preferences, and objectives.
- Educate clients on the importance of macronutrients, micronutrients, and the overall impact of nutrition on physical and mental health.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, adjusting nutrition plans as needed for optimal results.
- Collaborate with fitness professionals to create a cohesive wellness strategy for clients.
- Stay informed of the latest nutrition science research to ensure advice is based on current findings.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service offerings.
Requirements:
- Certified Nutritionist, Dietitian, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Proven experience in developing personalized nutrition plans and counseling clients.
- Strong understanding of the psychological factors influencing eating habits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients effectively.
- Open-minded and non-judgmental approach to nutrition, with the ability to cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences without imposing personal beliefs.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, with a continuous desire to learn and adapt in the field of nutrition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
