Nursing Facility Receptionist

Scott Lake Health and Rehabilitation is hiring an Evening Receptionist to work Monday - Friday 4:30-8:00pm. The Receptionist is responsible for answering calls, greeting visitors, and providing clerical support. Scott Lake Health and Rehabilitation is a 120-bed state of the art Skilled Nursing facility that specializes in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are dedicated to providing each patient with quality services, personalized care and outstanding customer service. We accomplish this through our focus on the individual needs of each patient and a successful partnership with their family, physician and fellow providers. RECEPTIONIST QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Empathy and patience to deal with elderly residents and their families, often in challenging situations.
• Organizational skills to manage appointments, paperwork, and resident information efficiently.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining records.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures to assist residents and staff as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling resident information and maintaining confidentiality.
• Problem-solving skills to address inquiries, concerns, and conflicts diplomatically and effectively.
• Proficiency in computer software and office equipment commonly used in administrative roles.
