We are looking for Certified Wound Care Nurse with a background as an LPN or RN or DPT to join our Team at Aventura at the Bay!
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Wound Care certification (WOCN, WCC, CWS).
- Must possess a valid healthcare license as an LPN or RN or DPT.
- Must have experience in long-term care.
- Must have exemplary customer service skills.
- Must be experienced with Point Click Care
- Must be a self-starter and work independently.
- Must be hard-working and motivated.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Point Click Care (PCC) experienced preferred
Responsibilities:
- Working with long-term care facilities to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions.
- Monitoring proper application and utilization of Wound Care products.
- Understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines.
- Educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements.
- Supporting facilities in their use of wound tracking and documentation.
