We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Nursing Assistants/Companion Sitters to provide care for clients in a safe and nurturing environment. As a compassionate Nursing Assistants/Companion Sitters , you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of the clients, and promoting their wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outings
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication/reminder
- Monitor client's behavior and ensure their safety at all times
- Collaborate with caregivers to establish routines and maintain consistency
- Provide transportation to errands, extracurricular activities, or appointments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements:
- Experience working in healthcare with a various ages and abilities
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and patient care techniques
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Ability to perform lifting when necessary
- Proficient in monitoring vital signs and recognizing signs of distress or illness
- Experience in medication administration is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and other caregivers
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing personality
- Ability to adapt to different situations and handle emergencies calmly
