Job Summary

The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member for the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Preference will be given to candidates with academic teaching experience and recent advanced practice nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for teaching graduate students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
• This position includes expectations for teaching, scholarship and service.
• Responsibilities include didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction and clinical site visits in regional health care settings.
• Teaching schedule may require some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta area and North Georgia region.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in nursing required.
• Minimum of two years¿ recent experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.
• APRN certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
