Reports to: Assistant Vice President of Quality and Education

General Description:

The Nurse Care Coordinator must be an expert in the field of dialysis and able to offer expert opinions for all aspects of dialysis. The Nurse Care Coordinator will provide ongoing education and training to new and established employees, patients, and various external clients. Act as an independent auditor for all units. Administers high quality program opportunities in a variety of settings that promote the health of patients, staff, and the reputation of Atlantic Dialysis Management Services and its affiliates.

Requirements:

Position Qualifications:

Education: New York State RN License; Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program; BSN/MSN (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of full-time chronic dialysis experience as an RN

1-2 years of full-time acute care nursing experience with cardiac monitoring

Required Qualifications:

BLS, ACLS

Certified Dialysis Nurse/Certified Nephrology Nurse (may be obtained within first 6 months of employment

Current and valid driver’s license

Job Requires:

• Efficient function as a mobile employee, able to service multiple units
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, turning.
• Occasionally lifts patients/objects from 100 lbs. to 150 lbs.
• Occasionally pushes objects up to 150 lbs.
• Occasional Sitting
• Occasionally lifts with assistance, objects greater than 150 lbs.
• Occasionally carries objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
