Behavior Therapist

**Currently staffing for hours between 7:45-4:30. 

Academic and Behavioral Support, LLC has been established since 2017, serving Fairfield, Hartford, and Litchfield County. Our practice provides ABA services in the home and/or community settings to individuals from childhood through adulthood to address educational and life skill acquisition programs, behavior improvement programs, and parent coaching Our team also specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We pride ourselves on our integrity of services and the continuity of care provided to our families.

We are seeking committed and compassionate people to join our team of highly supported ABA technicians on a full time basis. While experience is preferred, we do provide training to those who are interested in pursuing an RBT certificate, or supervision for those who are currently enrolled in an ABA program pursuing a BCBA certification. We value providing our staff the necessary time, support and tools to be successful with the families they work with.

As an ABA Therapist you will:

• Based on experience and qualifications, your assignment may entail working in schools, homes, and other community locations with children implementing established goals and following treatment protocolsImplement treatment plans as designed and trained by the supervising BCBA
• Collect data on treatment programs throughout the session
• Complete timely and accurate progress notes
• Assist with assessments
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required

Job Qualifications:

• Qualifications: High School diploma, preferably with Bachelor’s degree required or higher (in psychology, education, social work, or related field
• Must have high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to take initiative when encountering problem solving situations
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to locations
• Complete and pass criminal background check
• Flexible schedule; Must be able to reliably attend sessions daily/weekly schedules. Locations can vary from In home, office, or school based assignments.
• Must be physically able to perform the job functions and other duties as assigned
• Competitive compensation ranging from $20-$35 per hour based on experience.
