We are looking to hire a North Carolina Registered Interior Designer or a NCIDQ certified Interior Designer who would like an opportunity to sign and seal commerical interior design projects with a focus on medical office buildings and corporate office. This person should have extensive knowledge of North Carolina Building Code and ADA and be able to demonstrate this ability in a litmus test provided as part of the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of designers to produce commerical interior alteration construction documents for permitting
- Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
- Schedule project workloads to maintain team balance
- Provide budgets, schedules and proposals for client projects
- Ensure clients are invoiced as projects are completed
- Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
- Must be a NC Registered Interior Designer or have NCIDQ certification
- Minimum 10 years working experience in commerical interior design, not residential
- Proficient in AutoCAD Architectural to help faciliate design and support their team
- Strong creative and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to execute
- Leadership and communication skills to maintain a healthy team culture
- Must have extensive experience leading healthcare and medical office projects.
