The Nonprofit Billing Coordinatorat ACDS ($45M organization) is an exciting opportunity, at a pivotal moment in the Agency’s history, for an energetic and creative finance professional. The Nonprofit Billing Coordinator will bring an array of competencies to advance the mission, vision, and values of ACDS. The Nonprofit Billing Coordinator / Government Billing will be a creative leader with expertise / working knowledge of Medicaid, State Education Department and Fiscal Intermediary billings. Reporting to the Controller, the Nonprofit Billing Coordinator will:
1. As Lead Billing Coordinator the job function includes managing three billing staff, generating accurate and timely invoices, reviewing billing information for accuracy, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
2. Establishing and maintaining billing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations and data privacy requirements. Developing standardized templates, guidelines, and workflows that streamline billing processes, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
3. Investigate and resolve billing issues, work closely with operations, outside agencies representatives to resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
4. As Nonprofit Billing Coordinator, you will contribute to cash flow management by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing. Monitor payment collection, track outstanding invoices, and implement strategies to expedite collections and reduce accounts receivable.
5. Effective collaboration with other departments is essential. Work closely with the fiscal team, and operational teams to coordinate billing activities, address billing-related inquiries, and ensure alignment between departments for smooth operations.
6. Generate billing reports, analyze key performance indicators, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
7. Maintain proper documentation and records related to billing processes, invoices, contracts, and compliance.
8. Oversee internal and external audits related to billing processes. Collaborate with auditors, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
