Performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the division.
- Performs administrative and office support activities:
- Greet and assist visitors
- Answer, screen and direct calls
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, memos, and emails
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system; file and retrieve documents
- Handle routine requests for information and data
- Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
- Sort and distribute mail on a daily basis
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangement
- Maintain office supply inventories
- All other duties as assigned
Required
- Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task
Preferred
- High school education or GED
- Experience working in a professional office environment
