Title: Route Driver/Remote Technician

Our technicians work daily at each property’s waste/recycling area to increase recycling while decreasing the amount of solid waste that goes to our landfills. This results in a lower overall waste bill and enhanced property appearance creating a true win, win for both owners and property management teams.
We are looking for a responsible and self-motivated Route Driver/Remote Technician who is ready to join our Operations team. The right candidate will be able to deliver high quality customer service to WRS’ customer base and uphold the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Route Driver/Remote Technician will constantly strive to meet all daily operational needs and exceed customer expectations. Thorough training from a tenured management team will ensure the right candidate is ready to succeed from the very beginning.
Responsibilities
- Maintain route of 20 to 30 apartment complexes, cleaning and maintaining the communal areas, (Garbage/Recycling) 5 days a week.
Responsible for upkeep of 16ft box truck and ensure that each day the truck is prepared and safe to service properties. Have all necessary equipment on board to complete job duties related to workday.
When arriving at each property, the driver has all the information regarding location and quantity of garbage and recycling containers in each area.
Enclosure duties, (Garbage/Recycling areas)
· Ensure equal distribution of trash and recycling across all enclosures located on client property.
· Ensure recycling is not contaminated with trash and recycling is not placed on the trash container.
· Move all bulky items from enclosure and place in box truck logging each item that is pick up into company provided tablet. Taking pictures of items attaching them properly on the tablet for documentation at each enclosure within the properties.
· Sweep and blow out enclosure, (garbage/recycling area) to make sure no debris are left in area.
· Repeat at each enclosure then move on to next property.
During any workday, the technician is responsible to load his truck to maximum capacity, then dispose of those items at the local transfer station or landfill. Taking pictures of the fully loaded truck and then empty truck documenting the disposal run along with filling out the disposal form on the tablet.
The ability to lift/maneuver a minimum of 75lbs.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Background Desired: Multi-family - Property Mgmt, Waste/Recycling. Must have a valid driver’s license but does not require a CDL and must be able to pass a limited background check.
Experience with: OmniTracs/RoadNet a plus but not necessary.
Education: High School or GED Sufficient
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
