Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Auto Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. As an Auto Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of auto parts to our customers. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE and applicable insurance in your name, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Driving approximately 275-350 miles. Route sharing okay. Possible option to drive mornings or afternoons only OR share the week with another driver. Pay adjusted accordingly.

Responsibilities:

1. Safe and Timely Deliveries: Deliver auto parts to designated locations within the specified timeframe while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Driving 275 miles/day.

2. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that your vehicle is well-maintained, and all safety features are in working order. Report any vehicle issues promptly.

3. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload auto parts from your vehicle, ensuring that they are secure and undamaged during transport.

4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional when interacting with customers upon delivery. Clean, neat appearance. Ability to get along with others.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, mileage logs, and any required paperwork.

6. Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the auto parts you are delivering to answer basic customer questions.

7. Adherence to Company Policies: Comply with company policies, including those related to dress code, conduct, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and be 21 years or older with 5 years of driving experience. Knowledge of the area is preferred.

2. Own Vehicle: Must have a reliable vehicle in good working condition.

3. Insurance: Must have applicable insurance coverage for your vehicle.

4. Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks associated with the job.

5. Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations. MVR will be checked on approved candidates.

6. Punctuality: Be punctual and dependable to ensure timely deliveries.

7. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

8. Map and Navigation Skills: Familiarity with GPS navigation and map reading. Smart phone and GPS mapping capabilities required. Knowledge of the area is preferred.

Working Conditions:

1. This position requires you to work in various weather conditions.

2. You will be responsible for your vehicle's fuel and maintenance expenses.

3. May require occasional weekend or evening deliveries.

4. Paid weekly/direct deposit.
