At Devoted, we know that training and on-boarding new provider network team members and providing ongoing training is one of the most important ways we can help our team succeed. Our network team is many times the first impression a provider and their staff has with the Devoted organization and helping to train the network team members to promote a consistent, compliant and successful interaction is our goal. The Network Trainer associate in this role will have a focus on training our network managers, directors and field network staff with the opportunity for additional network or provider training. The responsibility of the trainer will include the development and delivery of training as well as strong interaction with the network team to help the adoption of best practices and standardized processes. The position will require the individual to train new staff members and provide resources for our network staff to continue improving. We are a fast-paced environment. Updates to our systems, processes and how we do things can change very rapidly and as a trainer you will be required to help ensure the network team is up-to-date on those changes. The individual will work closely with their leadership to develop the training materials available to our network staff using multiple methods; in-person training presentations, independent learning sessions and resource materials.
- Assist in the Development of training content, including presentations, and manuals
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods for new network employees
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in employee knowledge and skills.
- Provide updates to training materials as processes and information changes.
- Follow up with new hires after completion of training to ensure they continue to improve their skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs and processes based on feedback and evaluation results.
- Conduct and lead training classes, as needed.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to network employees as needed to reinforce learning objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to corporate training and development.
- Training will consist of how to approach providers, how to contract providers, understand contractual decisions, how to operate with tools, provider performance reporting and tooling.
- Work with key stakeholders in determining training needs and subject matter experts to assist as needed
- 5 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably supporting Medicare Advantage
- 2+ years of experience in a provider network position is required.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Powerpoint, word and spreadsheet skills required
- Learning management system skills preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
