The Network Epic Principal Instructional Designer and Trainer designs, develops, implements, and maintains end user training, documentation, and support for the Epic software used in business and clinical processes. This includes business and clinical analysis, instructional design, curriculum development, training, assessment and evaluation; end user system documentation and application support; and building, testing, and maintaining the training environment. Incumbents are responsible for analyzing training and ongoing support needs and developing and implementing processes to meet those needs through various methodologies while adhering to and maintaining organizational and regulatory standards determined by Leadership.
The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network is required.
EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or formal experience in instructional design and training.
• Epic certification required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.

• 3 or more years of related experience required.
• Skill and experience in adult education, curriculum development and delivery, e-learning development, end-user support, and testing required.
• Clinical and/or health care operation experience preferred
• Experience with Epic Training/support or another Electronic Health Record preferred.
