As a Network Engineer, this individual will collaborate with customers to design and implement functional company networks. The Network Engineer will manage and mentor the employees of the department to include junior Network Engineer staff, Network Technicians, and others.

- Management of IT infrastructure - Hardware setup, customer network support, process and policy development, and network design/implementation for customer projects.
- Management of Windows\Linux Servers, Active Directory and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot and support all IT connected devices
- Remediate Security vulnerabilities and perform/request appropriate action from respective items/teams
- Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet current and future continuous improvement project goals
- Collaborate with Automation Engineers to troubleshoot and support processes consistent with ICS and SCADA systems
- Ability to assist with deploying networking solutions on premise, cloud, or hybrid.
- Provide support and guidance for Disaster Recovery and Backup Procedures.
- Provide Technical support and on-site troubleshooting/repair for customers.
- Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner
- Experience and Skills in documenting all work performed daily to build complete customer work history
- Other duties as assigned
- 5-8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Networking
- Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems
- Demonstrate ability in supporting and troubleshooting industrial network connected devices within an Industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of PLC’s, ICS and SCADA systems, Modbus
- Experience with Routers/Switches, Wireless, Firewall and Security
- VMWare experience is required
- Strong skills on TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, Web Technologies, Security tools and Firewalls policies
- Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Experience with database queries and basic database
- Proficient with MS Office productivity software
- Ability to efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals
- Ability to balance multiple projects
- Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments
- Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, with an aptitude to answer technical questions in a simplified manner
- Able to work a flexible schedule and adjust to changing business needs including possible emergency call-out, extended hours and some out-of-town and overnight work
- Willing to participate in the company’s required background and drug screening process
- Valid driver’s license required
- Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel
- Sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations
- Wear required safety equipment defined by customer regulations or Pillar’s Safety Policy Guidelines
