GovFirst is seeking a Network Engineer IIIto be responsible for troubleshooting higher level issues of a Wide Area Network (WAN) for our dedicated federal customer.
The Engineer must be able to work closely with government personnel and other vendors on staff in an Operations Center environment.
Support of 24x7 Operations Center, shift work.
Location: Martinsburg WV
Shift: 8am-4pm EST Monday-Friday
Requirements
- Solid customer facing skills
- Provides technical expertise in developing, deploying, and managing solutions for. clients business needs.
- Analyzes, defines, designs and develops system requirements.
- Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies.
- Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design.
- May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Excludes those with full supervisory responsibilities
- Five years system design experience, including hardware/software integration or five years trouble resolution experience
Work Authorization:
- U.S. Citizenship
Education:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
Certifications:
- CCNA
