Summary:

The Network Engineer provides a timely response to Service Desk Trouble Tickets and handles related issues. Completes work request activity submitted via Service Request System. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves wireless network communication issues. Performs wireless RF site surveys and maintenance. Designs and operates an enterprise-class Wi-Fi network spanning multiple buildings. Maintains, optimizes and troubleshoots wireless enterprise network services (data, voice, location, security). Configures, administers, installs, and upgrades network infrastructure components. Remotely administers and maintain complex TCP/IP network using routers and switches. Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to the network infrastructure. Recommends, tests, schedules and implements upgrades to network infrastructure.

Network Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining wireless network equipment, network management and security including 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards and industry best practices for implementing high-density WIFI solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline required. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: • Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Ubiquity Wireless Certification (PREFERRED) Cisco Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) plus

WORK EXPERIENCE: • 5 years of experience as a wireless Network Engineer required.
