Leads the design, implementation and support of the enterprise information technology host, voice & data communications, storage and application services. Coordinate the installation, quality assurance and interconnection of various systems. Contributes to IT Strategic Planning process. Serve as mentor to less experienced IT staff, providing assistance when required and reviewing their work as directed.

Primary Duties
- Plans, designs, installs and quality assures all additions and upgrades to the corporate, local, and metropolitan voice and data wide area networks and storage systems. Maintains appropriate and current documentation, including configuration and change management.
- Defines tasks, schedules and directs work efforts of contract engineers and technicians.
- Participates in the definition and budgetary estimate of technical architecture and strategy. Ensures projects promote the approved plan for strategic growth and positioning of IT.
- Studies and recommends new technology for deployment into the existing corporate and regional infrastructure. Researches and presents information and recommendations to management as appropriate in support of customer and corporate goals.
- Develops, implements and maintains the procedures, processes, and technology necessary to provide enterprise technology management. Continually analyzes, makes and recommends improvements to existing processes both manual and automated.
- Responds to and resolves assigned support calls. Investigates, resolves and documents incidents and problems in a timely manner. Analyzes post resolution customer satisfaction.
- Transfers knowledge and/or trains IT staff and end-users in the operation of their information systems.
- Responsible for performance management and capacity planning. Recommends growth options for all assigned components of the assigned technology systems.
- Acts as project leader on large hardware/software projects as required.
- Serves as “technical expert” for other IT staff on assigned systems operations and management functions.
- Provides support for on-site and off hour availability on 7/24 hour basis as defined by the needs of the customer and/or technology.
- Coordinates the efforts and efficient operations of all components for any assigned task or project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant information technology experience.
- Progressive experience in system analysis, design and support with knowledge of various network, communication and system platforms.
- Task management and problem solving skills required.
- Project leadership experience preferred.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of health care operations is preferred.
- Must be able to move about facilities and between workstations
- Must be able to occasionally move, lift and/or carry medium weight objects and materials.
- Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquires; requires effective self-motivation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer
- Must maintain knowledge of current information technology and healthcare trends.
- Attends regular customer and team department meetings as scheduled.
- Experience with Cisco or competing vendor switches, routers and firewalls solutions
- Prefer working knowledge of load balancers, Citrix ADC NetScaler and/or F5 LTM
- Prefer working knowledge of Cisco Nexus/NXOS and/or Cisco ACI infrastructure
- Prefer working knowledge of Cisco Firepower and/or Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Working knowledge of additional data center or security products would be a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark, netflow and other analytic tools
Pay Range: $57,200-$135,200
