The Network Engineer I is responsible for implementing and maintaining network infrastructure assets. Supports, installs, and configures the organization's local and wide area networks including communication links. Helps users achieve optimum use of their computer networks by analysis, installation, training, and problem resolution for the local and wide area networks. Implements solutions to integrate desktop and shared devices e.g., printers, into local and wide area networks and/or other host-based networks.
What You’ll Do
- Design and Implementation of new network solutions and/or improving efficiency of current networks.
- Install, configure, and support network equipment (routers, switches, load balancer, DNS, VPN)
- Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Updating and maintaining network equipment to the enterprise standard.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
