SalaryJob Title: Network Automation Engineer
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure using Itential tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
- Monitor network traffic and security to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Implement network policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to network engineering.
- Participate in on-call support rotation for network-related incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Itential tools.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Strong understanding of Itential automation and orchestration tools.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key focus points;
- Ensure quality adherence through established Itential practices.
- Design and deploy customer networks with automation, security, and operability as a focus.
- Support deployment and maintenance of network switches, routers, firewalls, and other network appliances.
- Reduce manual workload through automation and improve processes and tools
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
