The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, planning, installation and troubleshooting of the enterprise network. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure, Field Techs and User Support teams to monitor the network to analyze and isolate any problems that may arise. This position will also manage network security tools, e.g., firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems. The Network Administrator will perform other duties as assigned.
This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze network and infrastructure problems and develops solution-focused recommendations. Grow to support vendor management and oversight as needed. Provide hardware and software support on installed systems to include the configuration, maintenance and update of these platforms. Ensure systems are capable of being managed and monitored for availability and performance against overall Service Level Agreements (SLAs) criteria including reporting of capacity, utilization, trending andforecasting Analyze current capabilities and projected organizational growth needs to ensure infrastructure can adhere to established SLAs. Participate in maintenance and incident response functions and respond promptly to network and system problems Create and document processes and procedures related to network technologies, and systemconfigurations. Provides regular status and project updates to leadership including regular trends and statistics related to systems and overall health and metrics of the current network. Must be able to work outside of standard business hours. This position requires, on occasion, the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors' degree in a technology-related field or Associates Degree with CCNA certification.PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/AMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 years' experience as a User Support or Field Technician with hands on experience in an enterpriseenvironment. Experience in assisting with the design, development and configuring enterprise level computer systems.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience working as a Network Administrator In a healthcare environment Wireless troubleshooting in densely populated enterprise environmentsREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
