- Implement and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, remote access systems, wireless systems, internet connections and private line services.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve reliability and functionality.
- Design, configure, maintain, and manage network devices to achieve optimal performance and maximum availability.
- Perform customization and system administration for network management, task/project management, help desk, work group integration and documentation on core network technologies.
- Collaborate with the business on new hardware and software installations/upgrades.
- Analyze, recommend, and evaluate new hardware, software, and communications products to enhance functionality in support of the business.
- Develop, maintain, and update a library of technical documentation.
- Work with cross
-functional teams in the design and implementation of information technology. - Strong network troubleshooting skills.
- Azure design and implementation.
- Hands
-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls with a comprehensive knowledge of routing, S2S, VPN, MFA, Azure deployment, system upgrades and Panorama. - Requires 3
-5 years Palo Alto experience including but not limited to Global Protect VPN, firewall rule implementation, routing, maintenance, updates, etc. - Requires 3
-5 years Cisco network equipment including but not limited to routers, switches, wireless, etc. - An understanding of the TCP/IP Model.
- Hands
-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics and network analytics tools. - Hand
-on experience with Cisco network equipment including the Nexus platform. - The ability to effectively communicate to customers and coworkers.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 200
-301 - Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
