Navy Maintenance Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Establishes workflow and resource allocations for U.S. Navy watercraft, LARC-V, and equipment by analyzing, developing, and revising Microsoft Project plans to ensure an efficient maintenance cycle.
Analyzes effectiveness of maintenance plans by comparing actual delivery to planned schedules. Conducts causative research and reports on significant variances.
Makes recommendations for process improvements based on causative research conducted on maintenance workflow and resource allocation variances.
Creates, maintains, and provides routine reports on maintenance plans, progress, and results.
Creates, manages, and distributes accurate electronic and paper copy Maintenance Records for U.S. Navy watercraft, LARC-V, and other designated equipment.
Coordinates maintenance data and reports with internal and external customers to include Program Management, Watercraft Maintenance Center (WMC), subcontractors, and government representatives.
Performs training on departmental policies, procedures, and maintenance records.
Complies with KBR and program specific ISO policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in a Science or Business related program. In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered. Four (4) years of related work experience in logistics planning and schedule development. Two (2) years of directly related work experience in Project Management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (current versions) is preferred. Must possess a certificate of training for Microsoft Project 2010 or newer, or be able to obtain a certificate within four (4) months of start date. Ability to use standard commercial word processing, database, spreadsheet, and telecommunications software applications to include Microsoft Office. Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position. Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Government Public Trust Investigation. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC). Ability to obtain and maintain access to Marine Corp Support Facility Blount Island and the KBR designated shipyard location for the Watercraft Maintenance Center (WMC). U.S. Citizen.
