The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is committed to its mission "To ensure a balance between wise use and protection of our Natural Resources for the benefit of all." ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

What you will do...
- Assists in the direction and implementation of wildlife programs and projects on wildlife areas
- Oversees customer engagement at the App Hills Visitor Center; partner with State Parks on shared areas and faculties
- Develops contracts and services for land management
- Supervises staff on wildlife areas
- Collects biological data for wildlife research

48 mos. trg. or 48 mos. exp. in Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position description AND valid driver's license.
-Or undergraduate major core program & 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position AND valid driver's license.
-Or completion of graduate major core program & 12 mos. exp. in Natural Resources specialty indicated under job duties within approved position description AND valid driver's license.
-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. NOTE: If assigned to work as Law Enforcement Officer, must also hold Ohio Peace Officers Training Council certificate.
