Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with monitoring financial markets, as well the monitoring, tracking, and reporting on initiated trades or transactions. You will assist in analyzing financial market data and determining trends or patterns, document trades or transactions based on the analysis of financial market data, support processes that transfer a portion of credit risk to private capital, and document pricing according to the associated risk of the asset.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Multifamily Pricing Desk Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Develop and build relationships with financial dealers or other market makers to provide pricing information on mortgage-backed securities (MBS) available for sale.
- Develop and build strong relationships with internal and external customers through active engagement and inspiring work.
- Assist with monitoring financial markets to capitalize on recognized patterns or according to a strategy.
- Track financial market activities, use internal valuation and risk models to assist with analysis, and build proficiency with market data sources.
- Maintain historical pricing data on Fannie Mae and its competitors.
- Maintain and coordinate the delivery of pricing information to internal and external market participants.
- Implement new pricing methodologies and strategies to ensure pricing is consistent with current market environment and reduces operational risk.
- Communicate and implement pricing changes by collaborating with product development teams and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal front end facing teams and lenders to provide pricing information on potential loans.

Minimum Required Experiences
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
Desired Experiences
- Experience using Salesforce CRM
- Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Experience providing data, insights, and expert advice to management or other groups on people, process, systems, or technology-related topics
- Translating technical/expert information for technical and non-technical audiences
The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict - Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
- Experience monitoring and analyzing market conditions, including: volume, price, competition, and/or dynamics, as well as interpreting financial market data and trends
