Mortician / Funeral Director

Michaelson Funeral Home is a family owned funeral home in southern Minnesota serving the Owatonna, Kenyon and West Concord areas. Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Funeral Director to join our team. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to grieving families during their time of loss. You will oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements and ensure that services are conducted with dignity and respect.

Duties:
- Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, including the selection of caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise
- Coordinate with clergy, cemetery personnel, and other service providers to arrange for funeral services
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, such as death certificates and burial permits
- Assist families in making decisions regarding burial or cremation
- Coordinate visitations, wakes, and memorial services
- Complete embalming and preparation of the deceased for viewing
- Ensure that all funeral services comply with state and federal regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
