Work Location:
- Flexible to work from home after training has progressed accordingly.
- Must be available to train onsite in a professional office environment.
Essential Functions:
- Order all necessary information to process mortgage, home equity and heloc applications including but not limited to appraisals, property searches, title insurance, employment, and income verification, etc.
- Review, evaluate and follow up of all required items to validate information and resolve issues prior to moving loans forward for funding.
- Serve as primary contact with members, realtors, title companies, and third-party processor throughout the mortgage process to insure prompt, efficient, and professional service throughout the entire process.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Demonstrated dedication to positive, member-focus service.
- Must meet loan originator standards under the Truth in Lending Act.
- Ability to pass FBI background check.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage origination systems.
Education / Experience:
- Associate degree in business administration or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Three plus years of mortgage loan processing/servicing, preferably within a financial institution.
