Job Requirements:

• 12 ECE units
• Related AA/ BS
• AMS or AMI Montessori training
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Head Teacher
• CPR, first-aid skill and 15-hour Health and Safety training
• Must be able to provide 3 references
• Must have fingerprinting, health screening and TB test
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Create a warm environment, provide guidance and teach children
• Implement curriculum in the classroom
• Plan, prepare and maintain units of study lessons, and 'works' (mini-tasks)
• Have a positive and high in the classroom
• Maintain individual student records
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers in the classroom and others during curriculum development and materials exploration
• Implement developmentally appropriate and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
