- Your primary responsibility will be to operate the SBIRS software and provide support during warfighter training events.
- You will consult with various internal and external customers before, during, and after these events to ensure smooth operations.
- You will train onsite to obtain and maintain initial qualifications, advancing through the organization to higher operator qualifications.
- You will operate the software to support warfighter training and exercises, concept evaluation, developmental engineering, testing and verification, and assessment.
- Additionally, you will maintain event logs with shift details and perform modifications to SBIRS data files using a text file editor.
- Collaboration with senior SBIRS Ops personnel will be essential as you assist in configuring and troubleshooting the SBIRS software data.
- You will consult with users to determine software functionality and provide input to operator checklists.
- Regression testing of the SBIRS software after system software and cybersecurity updates will also be part of your responsibilities.
- As you progress through the normal training cycle, you will have the opportunity to gain event lead responsibilities.
- Assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the SBIRS Operations Center and associated work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic understanding of Missile Defense System (MDS) exercise construct within a Combatant Commander’s Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Basic knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise LINUX (RHEL).
- Ability to maintain and follow documented processes and procedures.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and customer personnel.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Must work onsite daily with no option for remote/hybrid work.
- SBIRS, Block 10, and/or GEO experience
- Mission and Payload experience
- State Of Health experience
- Experience in OPIR
- Communication Systems knowledge

- Top Secret clearance preferred
