Job Description
Summary: Seeking an NDT Test Engineer to evaluate product acceptability using non-destructive testing techniques and operate advanced imaging systems.
Requirements:
BS degree or higher in Engineering.
Ability to certify in Radiography & Liquid Penetrant per NAS410 & company standards.
Proficiency in applying and enforcing accept/reject criteria from engineering drawings, MIL-specs, industry standards, screening specs, or process certification training.
Preferred Skills:
Functional understanding of various NDT methods including Ultrasonics, Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, etc.
Experience with ASTM E1742 and ASTM E1417 standards for Radiographic Examination.
Responsibilities:
Perform non-destructive testing of materials to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Design test setups for computed tomography scans and operate systems like the NSI X5000 for 3D modeling.
Create and modify manufacturing and in-service NDT procedures.
Review engineering orders to ensure the correct NDT method is applied.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $37.00 per hour
