Job Summary:
In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our SI&T team in Aurora, CO. In this role, the engineer will work providing Integration and Test support to our customers, collaborating closely as part of a cross-disciplinary team to support program milestones and objectives.
- This position is an onsite role. Due to the nature of our work, remote work is not possible
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
This role includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting the SI&T team in an Agile environment:
- Support to overall test strategy, including plan and procedure development
- Integrating software and hardware both in a lab and a operational environment
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Development of automated test scripts and their execution
- Generation, review, maintenance, and management of documentation
- Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies
- Preparation and conduct of program reviews
- Collaborating across functions in support of successful program execution
- Supporting technical interchange meetings with the customer
- Ability to obtain and maintain SCI or any additional program access as required
- Travel as required to meet program objectives. Travel not anticipated to exceed 20%
- May require work outside of normal business hours in support of milestone integration events
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Systems Integration and Test for a software product, in an Agile environment. This includes:
- Test procedure development and execution
- Test objective development and execution
- Test scripting development and Test automation
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the following tools
- Atlassian Suite of tools, including JIRA and Confluence
- Bitbucket
- Jenkins
- Automation tools such as Eggplant, Gherkin, Cucumber, Zephyr
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Experience with Containerization
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools
- CompTIA Security+ certification and AWS certification are helpful
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
