After training, hours for this position are Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6AM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to operate rubber mill and extrusion machinery within the department and possess or be capable to develop an understanding on how to resolve common issues associated with processing rubber. Prefer past experience with rubber processing equipment, but will train the right person.
• Process different compounds of rubber according to the bill of material issued to the shop floor. Mill rubber using a knife, then slab off and transfer rubber over to cooling / drying carts, strip off the mill, or move rubber to extruders for straining, as required.
• General material handling skills using a forklift are a must, but will train.
• Weigh up batches of raw material to pre-determined weight per each compound and operate pre-blending equipment as instructed.
• Good shop math skills.
• Regular lifting / moving of up to 10-50 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and occasionally from 70-100 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
