Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced regional sales manager to represent our company in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain Region selling emission testing equipment.
Duties, Responsibilities & Skills:
Highly motivated "hunter".
Working through various channels to sell emission testing equipment.
Direct sales and cold calling from small companies to international companies.
Develop sales plan and strategy for reaching sales quota.
Introduce products to existing and new markets.
Manage CRM and provide regular sales reports.
Frequent travel throughout territory
Responsible for effective technical presentations and product demonstrations as part of the overall sales effort and customer relationship building.
Increase/maximize sales to existing accounts & establish new accounts (70/30 ratio)
Required qualification:
Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
Experience with boiler mechanical companies/oil & gas industry.
Must have experience conducive to understanding end-user applications, recognizing customer needs and presenting solutions based on available products.
Must be a team player and possess the independence of an experienced salesperson.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and confidently present and detail them to management.
Relationship building skills are essential to the position.
Position requires a positive and motivated attitude to drive sales through all channels along with the ability to quickly learn, apply and present technical information.
An excellent communicator, with strong negotiating skills with some college preferred.
The ability to work effectively with distributors, end users or direct sales customers, trade shows, professional groups and technical associations.
