Job description

  1. Automotive Account Manager

    Are you ready to steer your career towards success in automotive account management? We're seeking an Account Manager with a passion for driving sales and a track record of success, especially if you've interacted with industry giant Ford.

    Mission:

    As our Account Manager, you'll take the wheel in steering all commercial program activities towards success. Your focus will be on effective account management, cost reduction initiatives, and driving new business development, all in alignment with our objectives.

    What you will do:

    • Lead the charge in executing all account management activities flawlessly.

    • Ensure commercial project objectives are met, covering cost, delivery, and timing.

    • Be the expert in generating and submitting cost estimates and quotes to customer engineering and purchasing groups.

    • Expertly negotiate price and tooling increases to support implementation timing.

    • Resolve any commercial project issues swiftly and effectively with customer engineering and purchasing organizations.

    • Maintain meticulous records in Plex, ensuring accurate price and P.O. information without EDI issues.

    • Spearhead new and incremental business development efforts, from preparing quotes to negotiating agreements.

    • Collaborate with our engineering team to estimate required engineering hours for new programs.

    • Champion cost reduction initiatives through brainstorming sessions and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

    • Keep all stakeholders informed with timely TVM status updates.

    What you will need:

    • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    • 5-10 years of proven experience in account/sales management or equivalent.

    • A self-starter with stellar organizational skills, results-driven mindset, and a knack for teamwork and interpersonal relationships.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
