Currently, we are searching for a dynamic, and fully committed educator who can skillfully take on the role of middle Social Studies school teacher with a 6th Grade homeroom. The teaching responsibilities include 6-8th Social Studies, 6th grade writing and grammar, and 6th and 8th Grade religion. The 6th grade class attends Camp Seymour for 3 days each fall for science camp. We highly encourage educators of color to apply.

- has a growth mindset in further developing his/her instructional capacity and quality through regular in-house professional development with the staff.

- can teach to the Middle SchoolSocial Studies and 6th grade ELA writing curriculum as defined by Washington State and Common Core standards
- can teach 6th and 8th grade religion curriculum as defined by the Archdiocese of Seattle.
- uses a variety of instructional strategies, assessments and computer technologies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- can effectively communicate with an active parent community.
- is a practicing Catholic who uses the teachings of Christ in creating a supportive environment for children and families
- is willing to add value to the community using their gifts and talents in leadership roles outside the classroom.
