Huntington Learning Center Issaquah is hiring experienced teachers and tutors to help us fulfill our mission to give every student the best education possible. Huntington has been a fixture in the Issaquah community for 25 years. We are hiring tutors and teachers to help students struggling with reading, writing, and math, as well as high school students preparing for college entrance exams (SAT and ACT).
Part-Time Tutor Requirements:
· Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
· Experience teaching and/or working with school-aged children
· At least 3 days of availability - preferably including at least one weekend day
· Fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 (per Governor’s mandate)
· Teaching certification is a plus but not required
· Local candidates within reasonable commuting distance only, please. This is an in-person teaching position (not remote).
Part-Time Tutor Benefits:

Part-Time Tutor Responsibilities:
· Implement customized learning plans for enrolled students
· Take notes and provide feedback on students’ progress and challenges
· Keep students on track, motivate reluctant learners
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
