Metal Fabricator

JM Custom Woodworking’s Stair Division has been fabricating and installing premium metal railings and decorative metalwork in the Palm Beach market for many years and is well regarded in the South Florida woodworking industry.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled welder / fabricator / installer to join our team and support our growing customer base. Our ideal candidate would be a high output individual looking for opportunity demonstrate leadership and provide quality craftsmanship.

Hourly Pay Rate is negotiable - based on skills and demonstrated experience. Benefits include: paid vacation (after 1 year), employer subsidized healthcare options (including Medical, Vision, & Dental). Potential employees should expect 40 hours/week with overtime opportunities available.

Job responsibilities include:

- Operates common metalworking equipment (welders, bench grinder, drill press, band saws, chop saws & hand tools)

- Measure and cut metal components according to drawings & cut lists

- Fabricates custom aluminum and steel railing components

- Prepares assemblies for paint or powder coating.

- Installs interior and exterior railings, gates, and other decorative metalwork.

Eligible candidates must:

1. Be able to read and speak English.

2. Be able to read a tape measure.

3. Some experience with MIG and TIG welding aluminum and steel

4. Provide previous work history.

5. Be able to grind and clean aluminum and steel

6. Be able to lift 50+ lbs and work with tools overhead.

7. HAVE RELIABLE DAILY TRANSPORTATION.

**PAY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
