Welder And Fabricator

C&R Metals is seeking a Welder / Metal Fabricator that has at least three years experience. This position requires an employee who is able to MIG/Stick weld, operate press brakes, and read blueprints/ shop drawings. Employee must provide their own tools. This position is also responsible for the secondary operations such as deburring parts, cutting raw materials, and hole punching.

- High School diploma or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES
TIG (required) / MIG / Stick weld
Operate Press brake
Operate Press punch
Operate forklift
Read and Understand blueprints and shop drawings
Clean and maintain work area

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
 Ability to read blueprints and technical assembly instructions.
 Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
 Manual efforts required for operating machinery, tools, and welding equipment.
 Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toed work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
