Full Job Description
Sheet Metal Installer/Fabricator - Foreman
The position will report directly to President of Service Division
Job Duties:
- Manage a team of 1-3 fabricators and installers
- Field measure and fabricate custom architectural and roofing Sheet Metal
- Track job inventory and job progresses
- Maintain equipment and tools as needed
- Interact with customers to include homeowners, owner representatives, project managers, roof consultants, and general contractors
- Train Sheet Metal mechanics as needed
- Ensure jobs are compliant per OSHA standards
- Other duties to properly perform position and complete jobs on budget and on time
Experience:
- 5+ years of custom metal fabrication and installation, to include proper solder techniques
- 3+ years of management
- Ability to comprehend shop drawings and architectural plans
- Knowledge of SMACNA requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and lead our fabrication team
The candidate must successfully pass pre-employment screening and drug test.
