Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Metal Fabricator to join our team. As an Aviation Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in Sheet Metal work and the use of various power and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using power tools and hand tools
- Operate machinery such as shears, presses, and brakes to bend, punch, or straighten metal
- Weld or solder metal parts together using appropriate techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Aviation Metal Fabricator
- Proficiency in Sheet Metal work and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- Basic understanding of machining processes
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self Motivated and can operate with minimal supervision
