Summary:
We are looking for a MEP Project Manager professional to join our growing Facilities team. This position will assist in the planning and execution of our emerging projects at Citi Field and Minor League affiliates, while enhancing a level of oversight of all day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, the MEP Project manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers with schedule updates, facilitating pre-installation meetings, managing shop drawings and submittals, providing submittal review for compliance with building and code requirements. Primarily this function manages the MEP trades, expedites, and documents, the flow of information between all project team members and in-house MEP trades. Specifically, you will:
- Review of MEP drawings from outside consultants and engineers to ensure compliance with Citi Field standards
- Must be able to coordinate efforts with consultant and internal resources during the programming and design phases to prepare construction documents and complete related support tasks to successfully bid and award capital project
- Responsible for review of MEP bids, interviewing and selecting sub-contractors for each project
- Responsible for site walks to ensure work is progressing according to schedule, including schedule updates
- The Project Manager will ensure that quality assurance, risk management, regulation compliance, utility deconfliction, and permitting is properly executed during all project phases
- Responsible for obtaining all mechanical close out documentation; as-builts, attic stock and O&Ms
- Responsible for overseeing MEP & FP contractors as well as third party MEP testing and inspection agencies
- Attend weekly owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, coordination meeting and field meetings
- Assist with consultant procurement and manages internal and external resources to adequately staff the project delivery team, including contract negotiation and managing the project budget.
- Learn, use and work with staff to promote project controls, tracking and enhanced reporting using program management software
- Monitor the installation and start-up of MEP systems and commissioning of project with Engineers and in house trade operators
- Direct oversight of operational MEP facilities management, vendor relationships, MEP building maintenance, among other ad hoc responsibilities.
- Monitoring of MEP alarms and coordination of remediation
- Asset tracking and record keeping of all periodic preventative maintenances, break-fix events and attic stock levels
- Ensure all MEP facility systems are operating and being maintained in alignment with established standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who demonstrates a high level of accuracy, while multi-tasking high priority and time-sensitive deliverables. Specifically, you will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact diplomatically and efficiently with cross functional leaders and all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Local, City, State, building codes for the project
- Extensive knowledge of testing and balancing and commissioning practices
- Experience building and leveraging a network contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Hands-on project management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Comfortable holding people accountable, managing through conflict, and working through day-to-day challenges with common sense.
- Able to understand complex integrated systems
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Salary Range:
$30,000.00 - $77,500.00
