Job description

Job Summary:

The Medical Treatment Coordinator is responsible for administrative and clerical functions and acts as the liaison between the clients and physicians.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervision responsibilities

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Calendar scheduling
  • Arrange transportation to appointments
  • Assist in getting payment arranged for appointments
  • Request Narrative Reports
  • Extensive client contact regarding treatments
  • Perform general office duties such as scanning, attaching, and typing

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Display true passion for client and community service
  • Accurately type a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Professionally and efficiently multitasks and meets multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Displays a high level of customer service skills
  • Displays an eagerness to learn each and every day
  • Desires accuracy and possess the ability to take pride in work
  • Respectful and provides a trustworthy source for both clients and coworkers
  • Reliable and dependable in performing job-related tasks, finishing assigned projects, meeting deadlines and appointments
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Health Insurance is a plus

Education and Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year of clerical work experience
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
