As a Transcriptionists, your main duty is to review and revise the notes taken by our doctors during patient visits. After the patient visits, a transcriptionist must thoroughly go through each note/report to ensure that all details listed are correct. Once the report is finalized and correct each report must be uploaded into our database for medical records.

Duties of the Role:

• Review and revise each report ensuring, Headers, Report titles, Patient Name, Dater of service, Date of accident, DOB, Location, Body parts, Patient history, Diagnostic impression, CPT codes, MD signature line are all correct.
• Receive sign in sheets for each date of service and compare reports to sign in sheets to see if patient notes are missing.
• Compare and contrast written reports to typed reports.
• Ensure Plan of care is numbered correctly.
• Identify and address any discrepancies with MD or appropriate personnel.
• Identify any discharge resolved notes on reports and report to manager.
• Send any complicated reports to for review by medical director.
• Keep track of monthly reports completed on spreadsheet.
• File reports in patient charts once revised and scanned.
• Other Duties as assigned

• Identify mistakes quickly
• Communicate with many parties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
