Educational Requirements:

All employees of Oxyrase Inc. are required to complete a Safety Course and a Microbiology Course as assigned by your manager within 6 months of your start date. All educational requirements are paid for by Oxyrase Inc. Coursework requirements may be met by previous documented training.

Specific Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Technician or Life Science associate degree or related field -preferred
• Entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 1 or more years’ experience as a Medical Sales representative including internships or similar roles -required.
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence in presenting in front of decision-makers and executives, effectively championing products.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to generate, seek out, and drive new business developing successful business relationships.
• Strong work ethic, motivation for sales, and ability to work independently.
• Skilled in negotiation, with a persistent and self-confident approach.

General Responsibilities:

• Set realistic, yet aggressive, sales goals and be responsible for attaining those goals.
• Develop and implement a sales plan, including a budget, to reach sales goals.
• Organize and manage trade shows including displays, literature, transportation, and budget.
• Develop and coordinate with Customer Service, and Marketing communication programs.
• Manage and grow existing accounts.
• Develop and implement a marketing program, and assist in defining new product opportunities.
• Follow up on sales leads and establish and maintain a Contacts database.
• Coordinate with customer service, order taking, and shipping of products.
• Assist in developing a pricing policy for products.
• Keep all marketing and sales literature current and in compliance with existing regulatory requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Send samples requested online, phone, show, and follow up with sample evaluations.
• Exhibit at regional meetings to gain new leads and visit existing customers.
• Purchase reliable email lists to build a contact database.
• Service all existing customers, contacts high maintenance customers
• Answer phones to take orders, answer questions, and respond to emails in a similar fashion.
• Provide product information: product inserts, technical papers, marketing information, and catalog.
• Write and submit quotes as requested.
• Handle customer product/shipping complaints. Collect information and photos, if possible, and submit a complaint form, send replacement plates if necessary
• Marketing Email Campaigns and Email Blasts through Infusionsoft as needed to keep customers informed.
• Maintain Oxyrase website, product information, educational videos, technical papers, online ordering-
• domestic and international, pricing, direct catalog, vendor catalogs, and company contact information.
