Medical Receptionist/Office Worker

Responsibilities:

-Must have own transportation
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Verify patient insurance information and benefits, obtain authorizations and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow at the front desk

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist is preferred but will train right candidate. Must be familiar with working on computers

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
