Restorative Pain Management is seeking a talented and motivated Medical Receptionist/Scheduler.
Our ideal candidate will be a customer focused individual with good communication skills who puts great service first and foremost. A professional phone presence is required. A stable work history, a track record of dependability, and a willingness to learn are also key. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. An ability to function well as part of a team is a necessity. Maintaining a good relationship with referring physician offices is important. Candidate will need to gather pertinent new patient information prior to initial new patient consultations. This includes the patient's history of prior pain management treatments, imaging studies such as MRIs, previous spinal surgery, relevant past medical history and current medications.
Required experience:
- Good computer skills
- Experience answering a multi-line phone system
- Excellent customer service skills with patients, physicians, and coworkers
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health insurance preferred
- Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
