A state-of-the-art, comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practice is seeking a professional, warm and out-going, articulate, and highly motivated Medical Receptionist for full-time employment.
This is an incredible opportunity to join a close knit, professional, and caring team, led by a board-certified dermatology physician, in a privately owned, boutique practice setting. The position is ideal for a medical receptionist with previous experience in dermatology or a related field, who is looking to provide a higher level of outstanding yet individualized patient care within an intimate work environment.

Duties Include:
- Greeting all patients and visitors, answering their inquiries, and directing them through the registration process.
- Utilizing a multi-line phone system, fax machine, printer, copier, and scanner.
- Registering patients, verifying insurance eligibility, and collecting payments through various software systems.
- Balancing day sheets and completing other end-of-day tasks.

● Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance.
● Be able to multitask.
● Have a knowledge of basic computer software; experience with electronic medical records and billing software is required.
● Have experience with insurance verification and referrals.
● Communicate well with patients and medical staff.
● Above all, must be committed to providing outstanding patient care and be focused on patient satisfaction.

Education:
- High school or equivalent
Experience:
- EMR scheduling systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Insurance verification and referrals: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience in dermatology or related field: 1 year (preferred)
